Kol Emeth Synagogue Center

Palo Alto, California

Over the past fifty years, Kol Emeth has evolved into a powerful and dynamic voice in the Jewish community in Palo Alto. Field Architecture is transforming its existing site into a living and ever-evolving environment that reflects the synagogue’s unique identity. Twelve great pillars support the canopy, a reference to the twelve tribes of Israel, while the sanctuary, courtyard, and social hall are designed to be the same proportions of the tabernacle, reflecting architecturally the multiple strands of faith and use that are present.
