Bill and Chelsea Clinton visit Ubuntu

August 6th, 2013  was an incredible day. President Bill Clinton, his daughter Chelsea, and a Clinton Foundation delegation visited the Ubuntu Center on their tour of CGI (Clinton Global Initiative) commitment sites.

In 2007, we began our work with Ubuntu’s staff and the Zwide community to design Ubuntu’s new home. It is truly inspiring to see, first hand, the meaningful role that architecture has played in shaping so many people’s lives. We are proud to have been a part of Ubuntu Education Fund’s journey.

“This is an amazing organization that actually ensures its people are taken care of.” – President Bill Clinton   See more on Ubuntu’s website
